The Founders

Earth Altar Studio, located in the heart of Orange, CA, we offer a private tattoo experience specializing in a unique blend of fine-line, abstract, and paramedical tattoo artistry.

Founded in 2016 by artist Justine Almaraz, with over 15 years of experience, Justine prioritizes conscious creation and personal connection, providing intentional and premium tattoo experiences that create safety and inclusivity for all. 

With expertise in paramedical tattooing, including artistic scar camouflaging and blending techniques for all skin tones, Justine serves a diverse community. We align our practices with sustainability, utilizing eco-friendly, vegan supplies as much as humanly possible.

In 2023, Justine partnered with Luis Almaraz to co-create a more private, sacred studio space focused on teaching the art of tattooing. Earth Altar Studio also serves as an online and in-person intensive tattoo training space.

Justine has been teaching art for over 25 years and tattooing for nine years, finding much of her soul’s purpose in passing down the sacred practice of these art forms to her students locally and internationally through her online platform and private studio space. 

Earth Altar Studio’s mission is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive creative community where artists converge to craft powerful legacies through their art—aspiring to foster a culture that nurtures individual artistic expression and cultivates financial success for our artists.
